Discover the hidden world around your home in Brooklyn! Head outdoors to play nature games in the school yard or nearby parks. Get hands-on with field studies about plants, animals, bugs, birds, weather, and many more topics and make crafts, forage in nature, and learn about conservation. Get a little wild, right here in the city.

$19 /child (Max 12 students)

SAMPLE LESSON

Intro Game: Play “Hungry Birds” where children work together in teams to find the most hidden “worms” 

Lesson: Students learn about the different bird calls. They quietly observe & listen to see if they can identify what birds around them are communicating.

Field Study: Using field guides and binoculars, students nature walk to identify birds in the park. Play Bird Bingo to learn many bird species. 

Project: Make seed ornaments to hang on a tree near their home.
