Take a trip to another world, a land of ice and fire! With your Crew and guides, you’ll adventure for 7 days along the Laugaveger & Fimmvorduhals Trails - ranked in the top ten most beautiful in the whole world - over volcanoes & through lava fields, past glaciers and geysers.

Unreal views, and new friendships are discovered through challenges of the land of the Midnight Sun.

Iceland has captured the eyes and hearts of so many, and for good reason! This island full of viking history and volcanic designs is breathtaking no matter which direction you gaze.

From the first drive to Rekyavik, you feel you’ve landed on another planet. Vast moss covered lava fields and terrific mountains spread across the horizon. We rendezvous in Reykjavik at a camping youth hostel and spend the first few days adventuring in sea kayaks, and short climbs around the Golden Circle.

We’ll wake with the sun to catch a bus ride to Landmannalaugar, where we’ll make camp and get ready for the trek ahead. After a day of hiking around the rainbow mountains, and warming up in the evening in a natural hot spring, we rest and read ourselves for the seven day trek ahead of us.

The Laugavegar Trail has been named among top 10 most beautiful by publications like National Geographic. We hike alongside natural geysers, through neon green moss fields, past grazing sheep and running horses, fording across rivers, and cheering each other along the steep parts. We even “sleeping pad sled” down a glacier! Each day we travel a challenging 8-10 miles, resting in the evenings at our campsites with games and activities.

We finish our trek walking past more than thirty waterfalls on the Fimmvorduhals Trail, ending with the largest waterfall next to the coast - Skogafoss. After a few days of rest in some of the small Icelandic Villages (where we reward ourselves with some authentic meals), we’ll return home with views, feelings, and friendships forever in our hearts and minds.
